Part Three, Body!

Threat.

My composition is base in the moment that the earthquake happen and how everything what shaking, moving and going out of place making a mess, disorder, chaos, Chaotic systems consequently appear in disordered and random,
reflecting the catastrophe that happen in Japan.
When we discussed earthquake intensity we discussed some of the basic factors that affect the amplitude and duration of shaking produced by an earthquake and the shaking caused by seismic waves can cause damage buildings or cause buildings to collapse. The level of damage done to a structure depends on the amplitude and the duration of shaking.
The fonts that I’m using are Code bold and chalkduster, the first one has a lightly movement that can be related to the quake moment and after shake effect, the second one, chalkduster I will use it to describe the chaos, alternating capital and lower cases letter to transmit the mess and disorder that Japan faces at the moment of the quake.

  1. The different use of value with the poles offer us a sense of shaking, movement. The lines are from top to bottom and yet there is a movement side to side. Poles, bamboo, alternate ideas as imagery, why the space between the towers? They look very similar in size. – look at varying the distance between them the negative space. . The words give us textures, that moves across the page. The small letters falling – size variety. The bottom could be more attached to the base and look at an increase of contrast or value to give it weight. There seems to be too many ooooo’s and they do not move off the page
Design 2: This design certainly gives the illusion of things being cluttered together, crashed or crushed. You are finally coming to terms with your use of value, by putting the black on top you start to change what comes forward and what is pushed back. Pushing things further than just 100% 50% and 5%. Different types of texture rough and smooth., curves and straight lines, and yet again the putting of the black on top pushing the value. Edges do not work the negative space on both sides, they are too harsh and say nothing, they don’t push or pull there is no Flux between the background and the foreground like at the top.
Presentation: - includes your explanation. You always give a great commentary and you roughs are part of your dialog – thanks for participating so much!!
